I qualified as a Physiotherapist from University College London in 1995. I then worked in London at UCL Hospitals, including the National Hospital for Neurological Diseases for 7 years specialising in general rehab, orthopaedics, elderly care, HIV, neuro-rehab, oncology and palliative care. In 2002 I went on to work in Oxford at the John Radcliffe Hospital on the Acute Brain Injury Unit , the oncology wards and the hospice, Sobell House.
My husband and I moved to Wiveliscombe, Somerset in 2005 with our 2 small children and I worked at St Margaret's Hospice in Taunton. After having our third child in 2008 I decided to set up Pilates Therapy from my home.
I have practiced Pilates for over 10 years and am fully qualified in matwork and apparatus. I trained with the Pilates Studio in Taunton in affiliation with Alan Herdman.
I am also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI) and have completed their Matwork Level 1 course and Neuro-Pilates course. I have also completed a course with the physiotherapists from Fit, Back and Bumps "Exercise in the Child-bearing year"
I am fully registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Health Professions Council.
