About Sarah Sessa.
BSC(hons) PHYSIOTHERAPYMCSPMHPCAPPIQUALIFIED PILATES INSTRUCTOR. (matwork and apparatus)
I qualified as a Physiotherapist from University College London in 1995. I then worked in London at UCL hospitals, including the National Hospital for Neurological Diseases for 7 years specialising in general rehab, Elderly Care HIV, neuro-rehab, oncology and palliative care. In 2002 I went on to work in Oxford at the John Radcliffe Hospital on the Acute Brain Injury Unit , the oncology wards and the hospice, Sobell House.
I now live in Wiveliscombe in Somerset with my husband and three children.
I have practiced Pilates for over 10 years and have now qualified with the Pilates Studio in Taunton as a Pilates Instructor in affiliation with Alan Herdman. I am qualified in matwork and Pilates apparatus.
I am also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI) and have completed their Matwork Level 1 course and Neuro-Pilates course.
I am fully registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Health Professions Council.
