Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's. It is now used worldwide and it's benefits acknowledged by millions. It is a holisitc technique composing of a large number of varied exercises that concentrate on strength (particuarly core strength), flexibility, balance, co-ordination, correct breathing and stress relief.
